I thank God that He has allowed me the privilege of learning how to -- and publicly modeling how to -- cultivate a thankful heart!
The Lord's Word in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 states, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." (ASV)
I have done my best to publicly model to others how to develop and cultivate a thankful heart even in some of the most difficult circumstances of my life! Now I sense that the Lord is calling me into a new, fresh season of modeling something different to others for Him.
Therefore, I sense that the Lord has brought the season for publicly sharing my thankful heart to an end. I am still, however, daily cultivating a thankful heart and writing out what I am thanking God for in my private journal.
It is my prayer that I have modeled a thankful heart well and that YOU would continue daily cultivating a thankful heart with me in our private times with the Lord!
