Forever: The Immeasurable Concept of Time
For my husband's birthday, someone gave him a box of his favorite crackers. I was told that when I get a migraine I should eat some salt. These particular crackers are extremely salty. One day when I had a migraine, I grabbed a few of the crackers, knowing my husband would not mind.
When he came home from work, I told him that I had a migraine and I ate some of his crackers. He jokingly told me, "You owe me!" I sadly replied, "See, that's the thing...I have nothing to pay you back with." He quickly replied, "That's why it's called "A Gift!"
Jesus gave us "A Gift" when He died on the Cross as the punishment for our sins. He took our punishment for us. It is a free gift. He knows that we cannot repay Him. The only thing He requires is that we receive the gift and make it our own by completely yielding our lives to Him and His plan for our lives.
Jesus gave us "A Gift!" Will we receive it?
